A boudoir session with GableHouse is more than just a photoshoot. We understand that this is a deeply personal experience and we want you to feel comfortable from start to finish. Let’s walk through what you can expect when you arrive onsite for your session!
First things first, we have a conversation. I introduce you to the space and give you a tour. We discuss your responses to the questionnaire and I make sure that nothing has come up since it was filled out. We talk about your boundaries and if you have any requests of what you want your photos to look like when they’re all done. I know this sounds like a lot, but trust me, it’s a lot more fun than it sounds.
After we get to know each other we explore the client closet and any options you brought with you to make sure we have looks that feel authentically you. We have options in sizes XS-3X that includes robes, jewelry and lingerie, all available to you at no additional charge!
Before you get changed and we break out the camera, I find it really helpful to do some light stretching and pose review. I love to do this fully clothed so that you know what you’re getting into and know what it will feel like before you’re stripped down and on the spot. Your comfort is my top priority. If something doesn’t feel right, we adjust or scrap the pose completely. You’re in charge.
Hair and makeup services are available for an additional charge to our listed package price, but since most of our clients come photo ready all that’s left to do is get dressed down and get down to business! I will guide and hype you up every step of the way! You do not need to know how to pose or what to do, that’s my job. You can look forward to real time image reviews and reveals to see your confidence building in real time.
Throughout the whole experience you are in control and your comfort is our top priority.
Turn around for final images is dependent on what package you’ve selected and if expedited or priority editing is included. Depending on the package images can be expected up to 1-3 weeks after your photoshoot.

Where are you located?
Our vintage-inspired home studio is located in Forest Hills, PA. We are about 10 miles from downtown Pittsburgh. The full address is provided once your session is paid in full.
What if I don't want "Vintage- inspired"?
I specialize in 1920-1930 old Hollywood style boudoir, but we understand that may not be for everyone. Although my sets are heavily decorated to reflect a dressing room of the past, I can remove items or tone down the set if you'd like. I offer a large amount of modern lingerie and robes which helps keep our sessions from feeling cheesy or like you're wearing a costume. If you have concerns or questions please don't hesitate to reach out! I am happy to discuss your vision with you!
Do I have to choose a revealing outfit?
Absolutely NOT! You can wear whatever makes you comfortable and makes you feel beautiful. I can work with anything that makes you feel beautiful and comfortable.
Do you offer financing?
Yes! Boudoir is an investment and can be costly. I have done my very best to keep prices as reasonable as possible. I understand that not everyone has thousands of dollars available to spend on photography, so for that reason I have multiple options to make your boudoir dreams come true.
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date. You have up until 7 days before your session to pay the balance of your experience. At delivery you are able to select an image package that works for you and your budget. At check out you will be given the option of using Affirm or Klarna. These options break up your session into payments. You can use them to pay your retainer or the full balance. I also offer 0% in house financing for the studio experience (not available for product purchases).
Can I bring a friend to my session?
My space is limited so I do not typically allow additional parties to come along to sessions, but one of my favorite Canadians told me to "Never say never", so please let me know if you feel like you need to bring a friend and I will see if we can accommodate you. Again, my main priority is your focus; however, if you show up to your session with someone I am not expecting they will be asked to leave.
